I have downloaded all the necessary files yesterday and started the upgrade earlier today.
It went fine for the System Console Server, the Community Server and the Proxy Server. All components are now running on version 8.5.1. on Linux.
I have some problems upgrading Meeting Server and Media Manager Server. I have described the error here. If anyone has an idea how to solve the issue; much appreciated.
You said you “upgraded” to 8.5.1 – I have been recommended (by IBM) to do an uninstall/new install but that may be because I am going from ST851beta2… did you see anywhere in the documentation how to do an upgrade or does that simply happen when you do the install?

The error occurs on step 15. Uninstalling the Media Manager 8.5.0 and installing 8.5.1 afterwards could be an option. But at the moment, I’m not sure about the Meeting Server, because it has dependencies. Will check.
It’s my understanding that an uninstall is need if you were using beta code. GA code does not require an uninstall. Everything went fine with my upgrade from 8.5 GA but unable to use audio/video. Getting a “Unable to initialize Computer, and it can’t be used at this time. com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.telephony.softphone.SIPPhoneException: Processed unsuccessful response: SIP/2.0 401 Unauthorized” and then “To ensure use of all voice and video capabilities, log out of server.com:Jim Casale, check the Remember Password option and log in again.”…Strange
I did the upgrade on weekend. I tried three times. Same error as you. Finally i found the trick
Meeting Server DM and nodea agent must be running when launching the Install Manager!!
Once i had this, it worked- The Upgrade installer will stope the services. For some reason, the DM need to be up on the Meeting Server.
